About Nikon GP-1 GPS Adapter
*Allows Geotagging with certain Nikon DSLRs. (D200, D3, D700, D90, D300, D3x)
Geotag (image positioning information of pictures such as latitude, longitude [Geodetic System WGS84]) can be added to the image.
Correlation between pictures and maps is supported by GPS function in conjunction with ViewNX version 1.2 software (no-charge download) and my Picturetown.

*Regarding Nikon D5000 and D90
Both bodies have 720 video at 24 FPS, 11 point auto-focus systems, 12.3 megapixel imagers, and play nicey-nice with the GP-1 GPS dongle. I’m taking it on faith they also have varied delete functions, which unfortunately my editor also does.
